OBJECTIVE

The objective for this project is to take an existing bridge that does not have an opening, and insert a movable function to allow the bridge to open up. This will transform the bridge in respect to the new function. The bridge is required to have a span of 190 feet and the new opening of the bridge must be large enough to allow a 30'x40' object to flow through.

For inspiration of the opening mechanism, I combined three common moving objects with three different types of bridges.
